Formation of Fano resonance in double quantum dot system

Transient electron dynamics and the Fano resonance formation over time in transport through a two quantum dot system T-shape geometry (2QD-T) are analyzed for free electrons. Time evolution of characteristics different weak strong inter-dot coupling with respect to dot-electrode coupling. When dot–dot is weak, we find that governed by channel tunneling processes relaxation times buildup developed much slower, longer time. In opposite limit, transmission evolves single time, from peak structure into asymmetric peaks. One observes large charge oscillations, which can temporarily change direction transient currents. We also entanglement both regimes; particular rapid Rabi oscillations caused coherent transfer between 2QD states be seen
